Diabetes Management Frequently Asked Question

I believe that diabetes can be managed, controlled and healed. Psychological impact may be occurring upon diabetes diagnosis such as depression, denial, anger and many more. Maybe you wouldn't believe that your diabetes can be controlled, and your life is about to change from how is it today. With the right way and tools, diabetes can be controlled instead of controlling you. At first you just have to change your mindset about it.

"When I eat meals I like, can I still lower my blood sugar level?" that is one of the most problems questioned by diabetes patients. In my opinion, the answer will be yes, if you adjust your lifestyle appropriately. That has to be the natural sequence in taking control on your diabetes.

These are some question to be answered when you are working with diabetes management:

How is your food consumption on your daily life?

Can you find an alternative food that able to lower the A1C?

What is the most obvious threat for you against the diabetes management?

What is your favorite food that can be modified or manipulated and you would not recognize it as some food else?

I am sure that when you never asked to leave the food you are crazy about, will make you more comfortable to move forward toward you never ending goals with less struggle. Then you will be able to work smoothly with your emotional change. It will not be too hard to move to the next step.

It will be easier for you to keep your favorite food be a part of your life. Work with it, and focus on the changing schedule of meal taking. Then you will start to feel comfort with meal and timing that keep your blood sugar level stable. "Go Beyond It", is the motto of my diabetes management. This term means food has become normal. You don't have to focus on it, you just have to focus on other things to keep away from diabetes.

The main objective is to take a full control on your diabetes, keep your hemoglobin A1C under 6 mg/dL, and focusing your intention to your life, not your disease. It is very important to keep your mind think that you are free from diabetes, free to live away from the panic caused by some disease.
