Alternative Hair Loss Treatment

Alternative Hair Loss Treatment

Alternative hair loss treatments can and do help to stem the constant hair loss.

Men can be very sensitive about baldness. Young men in particular, who experience substantial hair loss at an early age, fall prey to low self esteem or lack of confidence, even resulting in depression.

From a survey done in Australia in 1998 of 850 men aged between 18 and 40, a quarter of those surveyed reported feeling less confident as a result of losing their hair and one fifth of them felt less attractive. A massive three quarters of those surveyed believed that balding men looked older than non-balding men. A further 16% of them felt inferior compared to men with no hair loss.

Clearly then, balding is affecting men psychologically. They are more inclined to judge themselves in a negative way because they are losing their hair. There is also evidence to suggest that a small number of men who have an obsession about balding, could be masking some other, more serious psychological issues.

It is also worth noting that some hair loss becomes more noticeable when there is a particularly large amount of stress in life. This would lead us then to say that the best drug free hair loss treatment would have to be controlling stress and working on self esteem.

It is inevitable that some people are going to lose their hair and there is nothing they can do about it, rather like worrying about whether the sun is going to come up each day. Instead, would it not be better to work at accepting the fact that this is an inevitable part of their life and remaining happy and confident in spite of it?

Therefore if you are affected negatively by your hair loss, it may be a good idea to talk things over with a counselor or a mental health professional perhaps along with using the available treatments that are available.

This could be one of the most beneficial alternative hair loss treatments you could implement! There are plenty of books available on self esteem that you could get into alongside visits to talk things over.

Interestingly enough, there is some anecdotal evidence to suggest that women in general do not mind about men losing their hair, it is the men that seem to be the most stressed, thinking they will not be attractive enough.

Other men again embrace their thinning hair and use it as an opportunity to shave their whole head for an entirely different look! This look, according to women in general, is very attractive and there are quite a number of women who prefer it!

It has long been believed that balding men have a higher sex drive, so what clearer indication to give to the world of available women, than the completely bald head! To conclude then, it is better to try and embrace nature and apply your own ‘alternative hair loss treatment’ in the form of long term acceptance of the fact that you are just not supposed to be as hairy as some and figure out the best ways to become comfortable in your own skin.
